no, on checking account banned just outside refund policy, it seems like it was about a week later and 69 games played - the policy is "One minute after a player is marked, their 40 latest rated games in the last 5 days are taken. If you were their opponent in one of those games, you lost rating (because of a loss or a draw), and your rating was not provisional, you get a rating refund. The refund is capped based on your peak rating and your rating progress after the game. (For example, if your rating greatly increased after that game, you might get no refund or only a partial refund.) A refund will never exceed 150 points." these days they don't mark an account as a cheater, it is violating terms of service, expect for legal reasons, chesscom do same thing, so it can mean a number of things, such as cheating (which most people would imagine a ban will be most of the time) or maybe being too abusive or some other rule break that merits account being closed - but if we said just for argument sake, could be any account, but assuming it was someone cheating in some of their games, in this case too many games were played before ban took effect so I wouldn't get a refund. but not really too bothered, if it was someone cheating main thing is they get caught and banned eventually, if it was some other reason that is private between lichess and the account.

thank you. yes only my 2nd time ever getting to 2400, well in the past few days I have hit 2400 then dropped then got back again, within a few games, but only 2nd general time. first time was in Feb from memory, I made a change how play, both lichess and chesscom I got new PB bullet ratings by stopping playing the arenas and only playing vs similar rated via home page, just done same thing again now and rating improved again, in the arena's you always get lots of slip-ups vs lower rated players and lose lots of rating and hard to get back.

I did live streaming for about 3 years but stopped a good 3 years ago, no longer for me, but I was never a traditional streamer, x hours per day or trying to earn anything from it. just record / upload these days but we do feature a rapid video each day and an occasional longer video such as the lichess mega team battles as well as the few short clips.

@Paulw7uk all good just would like to see maybe even a 30 minute video of chess to watch and learn 😀 hehe

not quite sure what you mean sorry. when the king takes the rook on h7 it is a check, so the king has to take the rook or move to f8 or g8, each way we can take the queen on f6 next move.

thank you. yes you should say something, feedback always appreciated. I have previously pulled some games which have been draws as others have also said prefer to see wins or losses, though some draws are interesting games, whereas others are just flat and nothing happens for either side entire game. so far I have played pretty much all my rapid games in the arena tournaments, that is why we get some games with larger rating gaps, most of the time my opponents rate much closer to me. the system will wait to find someone similar rated, if available, but only wait so long then you get paired with whoever is available. can never take opponents rating for granted though, post game when you check you often find some of them have multiple wins vs players over 2000, you never know at the start if the rating is a fair reflection of their normal playing level or not and I think over time it gives viewers an insight into how players of different levels play vs players of other rating levels.
